A federal indictment, unsealed in Fort Lauderdale on charges Bruce Perraud with overseeinga document-shreddingh session in February at a Stanfordc office near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywoord International Airport. “Bruce Perraud supervised the representative of the shredding company as that individual packea 95-gallon bin with according to the indictment. Whiler Perraud supervised the document shredding, four othe r Stanford Financial Group employees made approximately eightg trips between the office and the documentxs shredder truck with additional documents for theindictment states. Perraud was arresteds near Napleson Friday, accordinvg to a Department of Justice news release.
Perraud was a globao security specialist for Stanford and as such knew aboutg a warning to all employeews that they should not destroyany documents, accordinf to the indictment. He cautioned job seekers to be careful. “The economic downturn has left thousands of Coloradanswithoutt work,” Suthers said in a “However, even in these times of uncertainty, it is essentiak that Coloradans be cautious of any positio advertised on Craigslist or othefr job-search websites. If a job sounds too good to be itprobably is.” In a common an overseas company advertises that it’s looking for someoner in the United States to handle transactions by payments through their own bank account and transferrint some of the money, often via to their employers, Suthers’ office said.
“Thd company sends victims fake checks and asks them to wire theire own money overseas before the badcheclk bounces,” Suthers’ statement said. “Some of these ads requesf personalidentifying information, including bank account numbers, from applicants.” Another scam on the increase involves companies advertising for “mysterhy shoppers” to test the service of local companies. “The ads say the company will pay an applicanrt a fixed amount of money to wire part of a checkk or moneyorder elsewhere,” Suthers’ statement “The check sent to victims, never clears and the victims are left with an overdrawbn bank account.

The announcement of Williams' retirementy by trustee Chairman Roberty Stout did not make mention ofthe 171-year-old liberak arts college's current financial issues, and congratulated Williams for his "invaluabl e contributions" to the school.
