The free permits issued under the city’s “Homse Renovation Bonanza” program saved residents an estimated $85.774 in officials said. Building-permit fees normally range from $20 to several thousand dollars, depending on the value of the project. The prograjm aimed to boost the local economy byencouraging home-improvement projects.
