Hillsborough County Circuit JudgeJame M. Barton II decided the case Feb. 29, but it wasn’tt released until the end of March. The suit was fileed by Fifth ThirdBank Jan. 5 against Foreclosuresdaily, Irwib H. Cantor, Nancy Cantor, Michaelk J. Kane, David Vanhoose, Deborah Johnso and Michael Parisi claiming the company owed morethan $495,000 on a line of credit as well as $30,0000 on a bankcard. Kane and Vanhoosse are co-founders of Foreclosuresdaily, while the Johnson and Parisi were Kane could not be reachedfor comment. Previous listesd numbers for Foreclosuresdaily were no longer working. Foreclosuresdaily vacated its office in January soon afterd Fifth Thirdbank sued.
A secone lawsuit is pending in Pinellas County byclaiming $1.3 millionh is owed, an amount that could grow to $12 million in potentiall damages. Foreclosuresdaily, fueled by a record-number of housing foreclosures, was once one of the fastestg growing companies inthe nation. listed it amony its fastest growing companies last September aftert the company grew nearly 400 percentfrom $2.8 millionm in revenue in 2005 to $14.2 million in 2007. It was the seconed fastest growing company in the Tampa Bay area in 2008 behin donly , as honored by the ’s Fast 50. The judgment was entered jointly and severally against all the partiesz and is accruing 8 percent interestin 2009.
