The Nashville-based restauranteur (Nasdaq: CHUX) said Mondayh it has entered into an agreement with to take over food and supplyu distributionfor O’Charley’s 116 Ninety Nine locationx and to sell relatedr assets at its distribution facilitgy in Bellingham, Mass. O’Charley’s said it expects the changee to reduce its investmenttin non-restaurant assets and cut ongoing expenses by $200,000 to $400,000 annually. Reinhartr will purchase all of O’Charley’s assets in Bellingha m for estimated cash proceeds ofbetween $6 millioj and $8 million. The deal is expected to close in mid-August.
Reinhart will sublease and continuw to operate the Bellingham facility for aninterikm period, expected to be less than one year, as it expandws its existing distribution facility in New Bedford, Mass., to take over the O’Charley’s operates or franchises 371 restaurants under three brands: O’Charley’s, Ninety Nine Restaurant, and Stone River Legendary Steaks. The O’Charley’s concept includese 245 restaurants in 20 states in the Southeasrtand Midwest.
