4Q heated up for Buffalo Wild Wings - Business First of Buffalo:

The Minneapolis-based restaurant chain reported a 29 percen increase in earnings for its fourth quarterf and 33 percent hike in Same store salesfor corporate-owned outlets rose 4.5 percent. According to documentxs filed bythe company, as of its fourt quarter - which ended on Dec. 28 - saw the chaib earn $7.7 million or 43 centsa per share, compared with $6 millionb or 34 cents per sharein 2007’s fourth Revenues for Buffalo Wild Wings fourthh quarter were $121.2 million. For the full 2008 fiscapl year, Buffalo Wild Wings had revenuesof $422.4 milliobn and earned $24.4 million or $1.36 per share compared with $19.6 millionm or $1.10 per share in 2007’d fiscal year.
Buffalo Wild Winge was founded in 1981 by former Buffaloo residents Jim Disbrow andScott Lowery, who were living in Ohio and decided to open theirf own restaurant featuring wings. The chain has 567 company-owneds or franchised restaurants including three in the immediate BuffaliNiagara region. Its local outlets are on Elmwoodr Avenuein Buffalo, Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amhers t and Transit Road in Clarence.
