Key picks Durand to handle business growth in Saratoga, Warren - The Business Review (Albany):

Durand, a senior vice presidenft at Key Private Bankin Albany, will continur serving private bank clients in addition to the new managementy role. He will split his time between Key’s Saratoga Springs Financial Services at 21Congress St., and the bank’s regional headquarterxs at 66 South Pearl St. in “Strong leaders make a strong company, and Key is committeds to providing growth opportunities for our saidJeff Stone, president of Key’s Albanyg Region. “Mike has a stellar record and will be an excellentg addition to our Capitalp Regionleadership team.” Duranc has 15 years’ experiencr in financial services, six of them with Key.
In his role as seniorf vice president and senioe portfolio manager for Investment Management Services for KeyPrivatr Bank, his responsibilities include managing portfolios for individuals, trusts, foundationss and endowments in the 10-countyy Capital Region. He also works with clients’ financiaol advisors to develop an appropriatesinvestment strategy. Durand joined Key in 2003 as portfolilo manager for the Northeast Regiom with VictoryCapital Management, KeyBank’s Institutional Asser Management subsidiary. In this role, he managed more than $500 millioj in both fixed-income and equities for a variethy ofinstitutional relationships.
In addition, he was director of Clienr Serviceswith Victory, serving Key’s Northeast Region. Durandf also served six years as head equityt trader and portfolio manager withAvatar Associates, Inc in New York Cleveland-based KeyBank has 51 branches in the Albanh region, including six in Saratoga and Warren counties.
