The “Couponm Swap” program is a nationwide initiative to get customers readyy for the conversion to digitao television signals onJune 12. Convertee boxes are only available to those with avalis $40 coupon. Customers can go to Cossaboomk YMCA at 7903 South Loop East onJune 5, or M.D. Anderson Family YMCA at 705 Cavalcade onJune 6. Dish Networkj handed out about 400 boxes in Dallaszlast weekend, according to Marcek Guajardo, a spokesman for the company. The currenty plan is to hand out about 400 to 500 boxeszin Houston.
Guajardo said representatives from the FCC will also be on hand to answer questions related to the digital conversion and what householdds need to do to be readuy forthe switch.
